about

A concept album.
This album was essentially conceived after I asked myself a question:
"Why isn't there any Sufi-themed Dungeon Synth?"
You would think that a religious tradition with a penchant for graves, asceticism, meditation, fervent dancing and general wandering would be ripe for the Dungeon Synth picking, but there isn't that much of this stuff out there.
Instead of using faux-medieval melodies, I'm using faux-medieval sufi melodies.
Recommended for fans of Anubis and Shevalreq.

The picture is a Chinese Sufi Shrine used by the Hui people. It is of the architectural style known as Gongbei.
