The Mist-Ridden Times

buxtonskingdom Poppet has a kind of absurdist, outsider take on Dungeon Synth. I imagine many purists might take issue with the genre-bending, but I think it’s absolutely essential. At times, it sounds like a “What if free improv and Dungeon Synth merged together?” collision. I miss the vocals of the previous two albums, but this one shows a lot of growth. Looking forward to the next one! Highly recommended! Keep Dungeon Synth Weird!

about

A change of scenery. Some would say more traditional, others would say more antinomian. This album is an attempt at painting a dungeon synth infused tongue-in-cheek picture of medieval life, complete with mysticism, poverty and war. These truly were Mist-Ridden Times.
